Meet Dr. Banachowski

Dr. Tyler Banachowski, DDS grew up in Ohio. He graduated from the University of Toledo with an undergraduate degree in biology, intending on becoming a dentist. He learned about military opportunities for dentists while serving military bases at a summer college program called Camp Adventure. A passion for oral surgery was fostered during his third year at dental school. Upon graduating, he was awarded the Hillenbrand-Lupton Award for Clinical Excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He began his career in the Advanced Education General Dentistry program at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. This was followed by 4 years in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at San Antonio Military Medical Center. Dr Banachowski is Board Certified and his practice includes the full scope of oral and Maxillofacial surgery with a special focus on bone grafting and dental implants.
