Type of Facelift

Sunrise Facelift

The Sunrise facelift is an all-inclusive procedure for patients who wish to dramatically rejuvenate the look of their face and remove advanced signs of aging. Neck banding, heavy jowls, deep wrinkles, and fat deposits in the neck add years to a patient’s image, yet can be corrected in under 6 hours. Because traditional facelifts are much more involved, the downtime can be up to three weeks; however, the results are lasting and impressive.

• Down Time: 11- 21 days

Mini-Sunrise Facelift

The Mini-Sunrise Facelift will also dramatically rejuvenate the look of their face but less involved than the Sunrise Facelift. This procedure includes a neck lift and makes a significant improvement to sagging jowls. Because traditional facelifts are much more detailed, the downtime can be up to three weeks; however, the results are lasting and impressive.

• Down Time: 10-14 days

Mini-Facelift

A mini-facelift is more involved than an abbreviated facelift and is ideal for patients who are beginning to notice more advanced signs of aging, including prominent jowls, deepening wrinkles, and developing fat deposits under the chin. This procedure takes three hours to perform and 9 to 12 days of recovery time. The incisions are located in the same area as the abbreviated facelift, and your doctor will tighten additional skin to restore a youthful profile. It does not include a neck lift.

Abbreviated Facelift

An abbreviated facelift is ideal for those who have noticed the toll that gravity and sun damage have taken on their face and neck. The least involved of the three facelifts, this procedure requires two hours to perform with only seven to ten days of healing time. Your surgeon will create incisions along the natural crease in front of and behind the ears, and the skin is gently lifted and tightened. This surgical procedure removes wrinkles in the cheeks, neck, and chin as well as corrects small jowls.

• Down Time: 7-10 Days

Weekend Facelift

This facelift is a low-risk and often low-cost procedure that reduces laxity in the cheeks, and jowls. The procedure and recovery time are so quick that it’s been referred to as the “Weekend Facelift.” It is minimally invasive and involves making incisions near and around the ear to tighten your skin and underlying tissue. The fast recovery time comes from the smaller incisions, which tend to be more naturally hidden.

Liquid Facelift

We offer a non-surgical Liquid Facelift procedure. This option is for those interested in using PRP ( Platelet-Rich Plasma) and a hyaluronic-based filler to enhance their appearance and achieve a youthful glow. A good candidate for this procedure will have mild signs of aging ( some fine lines, minimal sagging skin and minimal volume loss).

• Down Time: 3-5 Days

For a full rejuvenation of the face and neck, a neck lift and laser resurfacing may be performed in addition to any of these procedures to provide the patient with a complete transformation.

The Procedure Process Explained

Your facelift journey will begin with a consultation, allowing your doctor to ensure you are a good candidate for a safe, successful procedure. Your doctor will make small incisions in inconspicuous places, then carefully remove excess fat and tissue, pull your skin tight, and ensure a more youthful appearance.

Recovery and Aftercare

Following your facelift, you must allow a few days to rest and recover. Most facelift patients can resume their normal activities within seven to 10 days. Some swelling can be expected for up to a month, which means you may not have a clear, immediate sense of your final results. Also, some soreness can be anticipated, but physical discomfort is easily managed with prescription and over-the-counter medications.
